We are staying at the IB* Paraiso and will be stopping by IB Cozumel during our day trip on the island.

We stayed at the Tucan two years ago and at the Paraiso last year. This Sunday we arrive at the Paraiso again. I highly recommend the Paraiso! Overall the resort is much bigger than the Tucan/Quetzal. The beach is much larger and can accomodate more people. There are always empty chairs.

The same applies for the pool. It is huge. I compare it more to a large lazy river ride (but without the current) than to a pool. It has three swim up bars located in different areas along with a cold water jacuzzi.

If you are in PDC you can catch the complimentary shuttle bus to the Paraiso. Ask at the Cozumel desk where you should catch the shuttle.
