: Heard about the recent crashes, and it brought back memories of our "death ride" from Coz um Chitzen. The winds are extremely bad over the waters between Cozumel and the mainland. Our plane was dropping 50-100 ft at times and I looked over at our guide who was clutching his rosary beads and saying prayers! A lady that sat behind us got out when we finally landed and kissed the ground in front of the pilot! We all seriously tryed to take the bus back, but seats were full so we decided to get drunk and get back on the plane. I will never do anything that stupid again!
