The price at the Reef Club should be about $60.00 to $75.00 per day. VW's are a little less than Jeeps. If you want one longer than a day, I'd recommend renting from an agency in the downtown area. We rented our VW-topless from Smart Rent A Car located next to Hotel Marques in the Main Plaza (southeast corner). If you e-mail Jose ahead of time for reservations, the price is really reasonable. We had our vehicle for four days, and the price averaged less than $29.00 per day. The website can be found at islacozumel.net/sevices/smartcar/.
