Re: Dolphins, Taxi to town & Food @ Reef ClubPosted by Dr. Ed on October 08, 1999 at 19:58:34: In Reply to: Dolphins, Taxi to town & Food @ Reef Club posted by Krystn on October 08, 1999 at 19:34:09: : My husband & I will be esacaping the winter rains of Northern Coastal California to spend the week of Valentines day in Cozumel. Can someone please tell me about swimming with the dolphins. The above URL has information about the dolphin experience. I know it's a little spendy but worth it for me. Where do you swim with the dolphins and how much time should I plan on.
: We will be staying @ the Reef Club, I understand it is on the south part of the island. How long will it take to get into downtown and what will the approx. cost be per taxi ride? It's far and will cost a lot. : Does anyone know about the food @ the Reef Club, and when they say "dress code required", what exactly does that mean? Shoes shorts & shirts required or coat & tie or what??? Never stayed there. Can't help there. : Also, I have not read anything on the Botanical Gardens. What is it like? It's at Chankanaab too. It's beautiful. There are paths which wind around and little mayan temples and stuff. Chankanaab also has a unique Cenote. A small pond is connected to the ocean by underwater caves. It has salt water and living coral. They call it the little ocean. Chan kanaab means little ocean. Is there also a underwater aquarium or something. For those who do not scuba I recommend snorkle. For those who do not snorkle there are glass bottom boats and subs.
