: If anyone stayed at the Iberostar Tucan in Playa del Carmen, I would like to know if there is any cool little hideaways down the beach in any direction or any real neat things at the resort that you have found and would like to share. Any snokeling near by? I know the food stories, but am looking for our of the ordinary things to do on or walking distance from the hotel. Any Cenotes near in walking distance?? Love to hear from you all.
: Thanks Rob (Calgary Canada)
there is a cenote about a ten minute walk
to the south, follow the dirt road or walk the beach.
Its on the right side of the dirt road down a little dirt trail.
Look for the horseback riding sign or the horses,
they wait there between tours or at least they use to.
Go to cozumel on the ferry for snorkelling.
Take a half day tour or go down almost to the
cruise ship dock. There is a motel with a small beach,
I think its the Crown Peradice)get in there an snorkell tword town.
very nice coral and lots of fise, bring bread to feed them.
