: We are staying at the Fiesta Americana. What can you tell us? I have heard about a good breakfast place above the museum, where is that from the Fiesta Americana? Are there any preferred sections at the Fiesta Americana? Thanks Carol All of the rooms at FA face the ocean except for the casita suites. They are in the jungle behind the hotel. I would choose a standard room on the top floor. That is what we had and we were totally pleased and the view is to die for. Just north of Fiesta Americana...walking distance, but no sidewalk, is Dzul Ha. It is a beach club that serves reasonably priced, tasty food. Not a huge selection, but what I had was good. Also the snorkeling there is fantastic. We stayed all inclusive at FA and I think that otherwise I would have been displeased with the high food prices there. We liked the quality and selection. The Reef Club (their oceanside restaurant) has a great breakfast buffet...again pricey. But there are lots of Mexican and American choices. They have a feria (fiesta) on Thursday nights. It starts at 6:00 and runs until about 10:00. It's an all you can eat Mexican buffet, all you can drink, and a troupe of professional folklorico dancers. They are superb. I really enjoyed the evening.
