: Just returned from Xcaret. One of the most beautiful spots on earth. So much to do 1 day cannot do it justice. I plan to go back and spend several days at the park, some enjoying the amenities and some laying in the sand. Had I known anything about it before hand I would have scheduled more time for it. I just let the tour operator set things up for me. It's something everyone should see once in their lifetime. : I walked away from there feeling as if I had just seen the world for the first time. We must do everything we can to preserve it. It's a very spiritual place. : : : : : : is xcaret the only place to swim with the dolphins? beside the dolphins, is xcaret worth a whole day? i may never get back to do it again and want to use my time wisely. : : : : : thanks : : : : : : : : My new wife and I just returned from our honeymoon in Cozumel. It was our first time and we learned a few things. : : : : 1) The Xcaret IS worth it. It is BEAUTIFUL and full of surprises. If you want to swim with the dolphins while you are there, it costs about $40.00 us dollars as apposed to $95.00 us dollars at the park on Cozumel. And there is sooo much to see there from snorkling to a turtle hatchery to fish petting to the large aquariums, etc. etc. There are also shows and Mayan athletic events in the stadium. But the best part of it all is the shear beauty of the place. : : : : : : I also agree that Xcaret is a world class theme park and worth the trip to the mainland. The underground river trip is way cool. Everything is first class. The mainland has many other attractions like Xel Ha, Tulum, Dos Ojos, and beaches like Don Armandos. Pure magic, if you have the time. : : I am going on a cruise and stoping in Cozumel for one day only. Will I have enough time to go to Xcaret? I would like to swim with the dolphins, but have a large group and can't really afford the price at the park in Cozumel which is now up to $120.
