Kevin- I traveled to Cozumel March 0f '99, with my boyfriend. It is absoultly beautiul. I was 19 and he was 20. Where ever we went, we had no problem buying alcholic beverages. So your daughter doesn't have a problem. Have fun, where are you staying?? Ew stayed at the "La Ceiba".
