You'll want to take the fairy to 'Playa Del Carmen' It's not expensive at all and the town is really nice and has lots of shops. and the beaches are the best! Bring gravol though, I'm pretty good with motion sickness but that fairy ride over make me hurl all the way over. yuck!
It's about a 30 min fairy from what I remember of it. You can go on snorkle excursions on glass boats at the fairy dock..you can barter with them too..they say they don't but we told them we had 14 american only for each of us and they said ok once they saw we wouldn't go on without that price. It's a 3 hour snorkle tour too and even though I was sick it was well worth it. I'm not sure about clubs in cozumel but on the main land in Playa del carmen there's no cover charge and they give you free shooters as you go in. And drinks are on dollar for 2. Food is cheap in Playa also.. Most merchants don't take visa but there are quite alot thoat do take it. OH and get a hammock while your there..they sell them everywhere.. they want 30 american for them but I got 3 of them (single..which is plenty big) don't pay more than $15 for one and don't offer less than 10.. I got one for $10 in a town off the beaten track. I pretty much ripped her off but not many tourists go there and they sell things for anything pretty much. I felt so bad but that was all the money I had on me at the time.

oh another suggestion.. if you go to the manland go to 'Xcaret' they have underground rivers you can snorkle in..a lagoon with tons of pretty fish and other things to swim with. An amazing night show, and you have to watch the myans show on this little island.. it's hard to explain but it's like being in the ewok village. :) Chitzen Itza is cool to see too.. you can climb a pyramidhe same on 98 degrees made their video on)
