They ID'd us when we went to Carlos and Charlie's, I had left it in the room since I am in my mid 20s and did not get in. There are places to buy drinks in paper cups right on the street, those folks took your pesos as ID.
Spent the first part of July there, not a drop of rain for 4 days. It was rather warm during the day and cooler at night.
Did see horses but I think they go through the jungle, sand is rather soft for horses.
