It is 18 at the resorts but at the bars in town it's like the wild west...if you are old enouhg to get to the bar, you are old enough to drink. I've seen 14-year-olds getting bombed in Carlos n' Charlies. It's hotter than blazes in August. Mid-90's in the day but it only cools to mid to low 80's at night. There is horse back riding but not that I know of on the beach. It's back in the jungle down on the south side around Allegro Resort and up on the north side around Paradisus.
