Trip REport part1

: Just returned from a great time at the El Cozumeleno. The remodeling is very pretty even though we were in the old part again. The pools here are wonderful. OK first off we went to Dallas on Sunday and stayed at a Motel since we had to be at the airport at 5:00!!!! in the morning on Monday. Got our wake up call but really no need, noone slept much worrying we would over sleep.Threw everything together and caught the bus to the airport, all went well here too even managed for all 8 of us to sit together on the plane. Mike, myself,our grandaughter, Mom, Dad, Sister and her 2 kids. As this was our granddaughters first trip and first time to fly we were pretty excited. The flight was great and Kailynn loved it plus we were on time too. This time for some reason going through customs in the States and Mexico was easier than ever before. Got our luggage and off we went in our speedy suburban!!! We were at the resort by 9:45 and believe it or not we already had rooms!! They put us on the first floor ocean view right next to the Mini golf. The rooms were great and this worked very well for us. Spend all the first day just laying around the wonderful pools they have now and eating the very good food. That night we had a birthday party for several family members and had dinner at the Donnatella Restaurant at the resort, it was good also. They even brought out a cake with candles for our little party. We walked the beach and enjoyed the beautiful water and then off to bed rather early we were all needing some sleep by now. More later, we go to the national park tomorrow.
