: Yup...that's the way it's done. But then, you don't have to worry about customs once you get to Cozumel. You just grab your luggage and go.

I was on a package deal and they had people to direct us. It was not difficult. I suppose if you're not on a package deal, you can ask one of the package tour guides and they can direct you. It's a minor hassle, but Cozumel is well worth the extra effort.

Thanks for your response. I'll take it under advisement. We usually fly direct to Cozumel but,wanted to try something different. Now I'm not so sure.
