We have stayed at the Paradisus for 3 years in a row and like it very much. It is an inconvienient resort for divers because of its location on the North end of the island. We are staying at the all new Iberostar at the other end of the island this year. There is a lot of construction going on at and near the Paradisus right now. This has been going on for the last year. Last May we woke up to jackhammers at 6:30 a.m. The nicest hotel for honeymooners is for sure The Presidente. This is hands down the nicest hotel and beach on the island, but you will pay $$ for it and it is not all-inclusive
