: Hi! I am thinking of spending a week at Club Cozumel Caribe. Does anyone know what this place is like? I am particularly interested in the standard of diving trips. (Also food/entertainment/service). : Also - apart from the Mayan ruins, are there any other "must see" activities in the area? : Thanks for any forthcoming info! : Alex Alex, Hello, my name is Jerry. I have visited CLUB COZUMEL CARIBE six years in a row and have found it to be a fantastic experience! The people are super, and the food is good and presented in a colorful fun atmosphere. You will love the nightly entertainment! If you get a chance, you shoul rent a car and drive around the island! Scooters are cool but kinda dangerous so be careful if you go this route. The opposite side of the island from the hotels is quiet with many (small) establishments where you can stop to get food or drink. There are nice, long, sandy quiet beaches to walk on. While you're over there, be sure to stop at the light house where you can climb up inside. Also if you get a chance, you might want to visit Chankanab (sp?) Park. There is a fee to enter, but it's a cool place with gardens, freshwater springs and good snorkeling and beach diving. There is also a restaurant and dive shop. I agree with the other person who said that there are long boat rides from the hotel. However, the dive staff and the diving itself are top notch! Have fun, Jerry
