: Recently Two friends and myself were in Cozumel for a month period (Jan. 2-Feb.1 ). Three weeks into the vacation my friends wife got an e-mail that her father had died. We went to the air port to try to change our tickets that we bought from Priceline.com, to get home. The airlines at Cozumel wouldn't do anything then but finally helped out. We called Price line and all we could get a hold of was a computer message. We went from there to a travel agency in San Miguel and they tried their best to help us. They got ahold of someone in Continental airlines who told them that we would have to get Priceline to change the tickets for us. We were never able to get ahold of Priceline, only computer messages
: Priceline makes no consessions for emergencys. Seems to me that once you use their services that you are forgotten and they look for the next dollar to come along.I personally will never use their service again and am writing this to tell the public of the nightmare we had with them and the rotten service we were afforde in a time of grief and sorrow. The out come to this is that my friends ended up paying another 1100.00 dollars to get off of Cozumel so they could get back home for her fathers funeral. I was left there unable to help my friends or offer any sympathy for either one of them. By the way my friend has crippling arthritis and needs help in and around the airport terminals. His wife did all she could she wrestled with the luggage and tried her best to get them home in the best manner she could handle. I hope this letter helps some one along the way and that you think serious about using a service that offered us no assistance whatsoever.Make sure that if you do use their services you have a backup plan in case of an emergency, because they don't have one.

Sad story, but I'm glad you chose to share it with us. Let the buy beware. Anything that seems to good to be true...often is.
