You can buy in bulk, but it is advisable you have a RX when you come home. If you stock up they (meaning the US) will question you. You shouldn't have a problem in Cozumel. There is a drug store in the main plaza, and more deeper in town. Otherwise, you can get just about any medication in Mexico without a Rx, and for MUCH less than it would cost in the US.
Be careful regarding getting Rx filled. Some of the drugs are not manufactured to the same stringent specs as those in the US. I would find out where the drug manufacturing took place.
