update on Iberostar please

I am going to the Iberostar Cozumel in 4 weeks. Any info would be much appreciated. Is the beach really bad? I have stayed at the next hotel down the beach...Diamond Resort and it was beautiful. My kids like to snorkel off the beach is this possible here or do we have to take the boat out? Thanks, Margaret.
