As trudy said there is a car ferry that comes across a couple of times a day on a good day I don't recall how much it was but it was expensive when I inquired about it. You are better off to take the bus to Playa DelCarmen and go across on the passenger ferry. There are plenty of taxi's waiting to take you werever you want to go.
