The Car Wash Cenote
This is one of the most popular caves in this area because of the drive up easy access. The Car Wash has human remains and fire pits dating to the last ice age. The Room of Tears is decorated with ornate collumns and hundreds of thousands of soda straw sized stalactites. The Chamber of the Ancients is home to a colony of Remepedes. This recently discovered troglodytic crustacaen has 27 pairs of legs or paddles and reminds me of an underwater millipede.

These bones have been carbon - 14 Date tested to 9,000 B.C. The quality of the preservation is due to the aquatic anarobic environment with tannins added from decaying jungle root material. Like very ancient and way old too dude.
Neolithic Fire Pit Obvious evidence of human inhabitation.
